Aim

AVAC advances visual art in Kenya through advocacy and resource mobilisation for a stronger network of visual artists and collectives.

Aspire

We seek to build and foster strategic partnerships for progressive and sustainable relations with Government and relevant partners.

Vision

Our mission is to establish a visible, vibrant and sustainable art industry that will assist visual artists to realize their greatest potential.

Coordinated

AVAC actions and decisions are transparent and we are bound by integrity in the best interest of the association.

About

AVAC

AVAC promotes social responsibility in health, education, conservation, and the law. To achieve this we collaborate and work with key stakeholders, promoting the welfare of visual artists and or visual artists organizations/collectives.

A primary ambition of AVAC is further education opportunities for visual artists and or visual artists organizations/collectives through coordinating residency program options, master class training and other education-related platforms.

By our engagements with relevant partners we strive to support elderly, disabled visual artists and artists of all age groups undergoing mental health issues.

AVAC will advocate the importance of the role of the visual artist in society with information campaigns so that artists will engage with an informed general public.
